How to listen to a podcast
Are you new to podcasting? No worries, so are we! Here are a few ways to get started listening to podcasts. And once you figure it out, we of course hope you subscribe to Field Work before anything else.
ON YOUR COMPUTER
Visit fieldworktalk.org and listen to the episodes through your computer speakers or plug in headphones.
ON YOUR PHONE
Arguably the most convenient way to listen to a podcast is on your smartphone. If you have an iPhone you can use the Apple Podcasts app. If you’re on an Android or Windows device, you can use a different podcasting app - Field Work is on Stitcher, Spotify and Radio Public.
IN THE CAR, TRUCK, OR COMBINE
To listen to a podcast in your car, first download one of the apps on your smartphone to listen to a podcast (outlined above). You can then connect your phone to the speakers in your car via bluetooth, the ‘aux in’ port (you’ll need a cord for this), a radio broadcast device (like this), or if you’re really old school - a tape deck connector.
